The exhaust Gas pipe is part of the engine exhaust system, the exhaust system mainly includes an exhaust manifold, Exhaust pipe, and muffler. Generally, the three-school catalyst for controlling the emission of pollutants from the engine is also installed in the exhaust system, and the Exhaust Gas pipe generally includes a front exhaust pipe and a rear exhaust pipe.

Back pressure Exhaust Gas pipe. Most of the original cars use this kind of pipe, which mainly relies on the volume change of the muffler in the pipe or the pipe to generate a pressure that will return to the cylinder. When the engine fires, the piston begins a radial power stroke, and the exhaust valve opens before the piston reaches the bottom dead center.
At this time, the back pressure in the Exhaust Gas pipe will block the exhaust gas from rushing out, allowing the mixture to achieve complete combustion. However, if the back pressure is too strong, the exhaust gas will not be completely discharged from the cylinder, causing the exhaust gas and the mixture to burn together to reduce the combustion efficiency. Of course, the most direct one is the output of horsepower.
Advantages of back pressure Exhaust Gas pipe: low noise, good low-speed torque. Disadvantages: The exhaust gas cannot be quickly discharged at high speed, which affects the power output of the engine and the volume is low.
Through the above introduction and analysis of the Exhaust Gas pipe, hope it helps you.
